The best you can get in Singapore, San Shield. The thing stays on for four hours while you make the best of your hands ahem.
The space ‘dictates’ the kind of objects it wants surrounding it. Because we are not within a conventional store, I find the objects and artifacts taking on a naturalistic relation to one another, less stylized and yet more museum like, and I try to preserve this aura. Perhaps you can tell from the photos… At the store, we always had to decide where goes what, but within an old house, the things fall to their own dwelling spot. Amazing!
We are helping out with the lighting design of our friend’s new store and have somehow ventured into this and that of ‘interior design’. The lines of a good living space are not as clearly delineated as you think, until you think like you are clearly aware.
This week folks, or next week. Let’s see.
