Diligence is the path to the mountain of knowledge;
The boat in the endless sea of learning being hard work.
Chinese designs, or more rightly, their concerns, make me think of mimicry. There is the overriding desire for harmony, and it is inseparable if this harmony means to enhance or shelter something. Must that extra, extra dose of subtlety come with every magnificent ideal?
And that perhaps, is all it means to be Chinese.
Feet footed in soil;
Blood in stone.
