Vintage Wear Singapore

We are clearing our vintage wear for the year. It will go this way: $70 per piece, or $50 per piece if you get three pieces and more. FOR FRIENDS ONLY. You know who you are.

This sale is by far the ‘biggest’ one we have or will have. It is amazing this is all we have after so many years of the vintage wear business. Some of the dresses are so perfect but either the color or cut is too challenging. But, at $50, my gosh.

If everything goes, or if we let everything go, it is likely we will have no more sale for a long time.

Make an appointment and come by! We are hanging out the dresses now, and will have more than what is shown here.

Forgive the creases?

Have you seen how party dresses, with balloons and joy-joy, look like in the dark? They look like Lana. Or they look like Lana’s dresses. They have that vintage objects of desire smoking from red lips. Nothing new looks very sexy anymore. You can always find sexy in a stone if you want.

But where do I find the best sour wine gums / fruit pastilles / gummy sweets?

I found them at Marks & Spencers.

Vintage Dresses Go To Heaven

We’ve been selling Japanese vintage dresses for a long time now. It continues to surprise us, which is probably why we still do it. The more we pick and choose, the more aware we become of people and personality.

Are you afraid of color?

Why is loud loud?

When did you become used to wearing what everybody wears? Is it always the body’s fault? The job environment?

The penultimate no where to go.

There is no where to venture when the brain is not tickled.

We are working on a semi-social-media, quasi-intellectual project. A key point of this project is the revelation of how much the left brain makes practical, apparent rational decisions for us. The right brain, which not everyone has learned to not shut down/up, is the style, the charisma, happiness even.

That’s the unpredictable right brain predictably. Finicky 😛

Look no further. There is something special about the vintage dresses Singapore offers. Unlike the Japanese, we like wearing Japanese vintage. Unlike the West, we are not the West. Heheh.

How to make your own septum chain jewelry:

– Remove any stainless steel chain (or surgical steel) from a piece of your other jewelry.
– Delicate or thick chain – whatever rocks your socks. You can also use two chains if you like to be ‘darker’.
– Get from somewhere some very small jump rings – 3mm or 4mm works. Bigger than that and the chain will slip off your ball ends (ie. ball screw ends).
– Hook the jump rings to the chain and attach onto your bar bell. The curve bar bell will let the chain fall nicer.
– Obviously you are going to have to wear one side first!

We have a new Alcatraz door. Victor, our funny contractor, says that “even Malaysia doesn’t use this type of door anymore”. The price is Singapore price of course.

To welcome this new addition to our den, we have taken celebratory photos on this cool Friday night. Of clothes Singaporeans don’t wear enough of. #reallymeh

If we took the old path
In the old field
The same gate would stand there
That will never yield.

Where the sun warmed us
With a cloak made of gold,
The rain would be falling
And the wind would be cold;

And we would stop to search
In the wind and the rain,
But we would not find the stargrass
By the path again.

Blue Stargrass, Sara Teasdale
