SOLD Light Cluster Meteorite IV
This porcelain and brass light fixture is a two-bulb industrial chandelier. Wonderful thing about this is its portability – you can screw the fixture into an existing light socket, if you get tired of hanging pendant lamps. Another delightful use is to hook it against the wall, using the cluster as a wall sconce lamp!
The patent mark on this fixture dates it to 1903. That’s 109 years ago. Back in its time, it was a utilitarian socket used for industrial purposes. It was beautifully made not because it was intended to be beautiful, but because plastics hadn’t been discovered then, so people didn’t actually know how to do things otherwise!
Shown here with 2 5-watt golf ball bulbs, one small and one bigger!
