The Three Graces And More
It’s quite amazing how we have not just ‘The Three Graces’ but a set of what looks like a three-piece set of bisque figurines from the ’30s or earlier. Probably German and standing at 12cm tall, the figurines are a miniature set, standing as if they should as left-center-right, with imperfect yet recognizable features that are common with many bisque figurines. There is no calculated “book value” in these unmarked bisque dolls but this does not stop collectors all over the world to look out for uncommon and seemingly unique pieces in the unexpected world of bisque figurines. We appreciate these ‘rougher’ bisque figurines over the Rosenthal or Kaiser pieces. More poetic license perhaps?
